Paper Cactus Ink started when I published my second book, realizing that it costs a lot to be creative. Working as a mixed media and digital art company, my dream is to help other small creators bring their ideas to life without them having to spend a fortune.

Rachel Marie Pearcy was born and raised in Southern California, and spent many years working for a certain famous mouse. She loved being surrounded by great storytelling, and when she became disabled and unable to work, she started telling the stories herself. YA books with queer main characters are her focus. She is determined to write the stories she wishes she had when she was a teen.

Rachel now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her partner and one very weird cat. When she's not writing she's DMing Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, playing video games, reading other awesome stories, or binging her favorite shows. Yes, she knows she's a huge nerd, and she owns it like a boss!
